A short animation for OBI meetings and social media, aiming to simplify and visualise the commercial property sales process. The simple ball shape symbolises the project coming together and developing into the finished product, passing through a range of services and departments.
A kinetic typography experiment to demystify branding, highlight misconceptions and demonstrate what it can really do for a client and their audience. This animation explores how words and their meaning can be visually explored.
A collection of projects completed in accordance to the City Tower building rebrand and refurbishment. I worked as part of a larger team, contributing as a production assistant, stylist and motion designer at various parts of the process. This gave me the opportunity to challenge and contribute ideas towards the brand, rather than follow pre-established guidelines, since the team was creating the entire rebrand in-house so the design and video processes were simultaneous.
A collection of short adverts for YouTube advertising. Each video highlights a different feature of the Trolex monitor to bring traction to their website and raise awareness of construction safety issues. I animated each video in accordance to strict brand guidelines and storyboards, using a combination of brand assets and custom shapes and simulations to jazz up the compositions.
A short film to celebrate Art With Heart's proudest moments and reaffirm their brand values, to coincide with their new website launch. I worked in accordance to the client's script and detailed brand guidelines, focusing on bespoke illustrations and their brand shapes to frame and reformat footage from successful projects. I delivered clean compositions and smooth transitions that centre on the block shapes, which is the foundation for the company's recent rebrand. It was important to incorporate clean captions and readability in this project since the company aim to make theatre and performance which is accessible to everyone.
Accompanying visuals for She Drew The Gun's live shows and 'Behave Myself' tour. I created content for 19 songs, to be mixed live by the band's VJ. I combined illustrations, found and filmed content with a variety of simple shapes and animations as the basis for this VJ deck. The band's sound plays into retro electronic elements and 80s influences, with their marketing and design work usually featuring shades of pink. In keeping with that trend, I restyled assets with a rubbery glossy neon texture so that the visual show would stand out when it's projected behind live performances. I animated in After Effects, and then used Resolume to live edit and design compositions.

A short film which forms part of an installation at Windermere Jetty Museum, delving into myths and legends of the lake. Working alongside Triple Dot Makers, I animated various aspects of the different scenes in a 2.5D composition. We filmed inks in water with a macro lens to add unique texture to the creature character, bringing to life each bespoke illustrated scene.Â

The museum scene for Art With Heart's 'Stan' theatre project which forms part of a projected background set throughout the show. In this scene, performers interact with the eponymous character of the play, Stan the dinosaur, who is inspired by the T-Rex fossil skeleton housed at Manchester Museum. Working alongside Triple Dot Makers, I animated the 3D elements, composited this scene and illustrated various elements of the show.

A teaser trailer to promote the theatre project 'Stan'. I sketched out frames on an IPad to form the basis of the animation, using footage we filmed with children and toy dinosaurs as a rough guide, then added finishing touches to composite the trailer in After Effects.
A looped animation to accompany Eves' Drop Collective DJ sets. This short loop can be projected behind the decks at various venues, to give the audience a more trippy gig experience.

A series of ident graphics to introduce content on the charity's social media platforms. Keeping to the guidelines and logo, I wanted to create something simple yet playful. I was inspired by a jackpot scroll, and the buzzing of lights as a word play on 'Brighter Sound'.
A music video which pays homage to the history of James Bond opening title sequences and the development of various film, animation and motion graphics techniques.
